Job Title: Python Developer – Infrastructure & Virtualization

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong infrastructure knowledge to support, automate, and optimize data center and virtualization environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python programming, deep understanding of server and networking infrastructure, and practical exposure to VMware technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and tools for infrastructure automation and monitoring

Support and manage data center infrastructure including DL servers and network switches

Perform configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of VMware environments

Automate routine infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reliability

Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and operations teams to resolve system issues

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure components

Document processes, scripts, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python programming

Good understanding of infrastructure components such as:

DL servers

Network switches

Storage and compute environments

Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics)

Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure and virtualization issues

Familiarity with automation, scripting, and system monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with infrastructure automation tools

Exposure to Linux system administration

Knowledge of cloud platforms or hybrid environments

VMware certifications are a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

4-5 years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure roles.

Proven experience in networking and Python-based automation.
