The deal between us.
Short version: you keep what you upload, we score it, and either of us can walk away. Read the long version below before you sign up — the clauses are short and the language is the language we'd actually defend in court.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using any feature of Tevos ("Service") operated by Tevos Labs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use Tevos on behalf of an employer, you warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload or submit — CVs, profile data, messages, job posts. By uploading, you grant Tevos a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, index, and process that content for the sole purpose of operating the matching service. This licence ends when you delete the content, subject to the retention period in the Privacy Policy.
3a. Aggregated benchmarks after deletion
You acknowledge that, when you delete your account, Tevos may retain a single de-identified, bucketed snapshot of your role and compensation (no name, email, employer, exact city, or exact figures) so we can publish aggregated salary benchmarks. This is described in detail in the Privacy Policy under "Aggregated benchmarks after deletion". You can opt out of this contribution at any time in Settings, or request full erasure (including the snapshot) by emailing hello@gettevos.com.
4. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest data from the Service using automated means.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any company.
- Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messages through Tevos.
- Upload illegal content, malware, or material that infringes someone else's rights.
- Use Tevos to make hiring decisions based on protected characteristics in violation of applicable anti-discrimination law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service's security.
5. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if your use creates a security or integrity risk. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.
6. DMCA and intellectual property
If you believe content on Tevos infringes your copyright, email hello@gettevos.com with (a) your contact details, (b) the work you claim is infringed, (c) the URL of the infringing content, and (d) a good-faith statement. We will review and remove promptly where the claim is valid.
7. Disclaimers
Tevos is a matching platform, not an employer or recruitment agency. We do not guarantee that any candidate will be hired or that any role posted is accurate, current, or available. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tevos, its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid Tevos in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) INR 1,000.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively by the courts of Gurgaon, Haryana, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you by email or an in-app banner. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms.
