Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Capex Accounting & Invoice Processing
- Process Capex invoices and supporting documents in line with defined guidelines
- Track and follow up on pending GR items and approvals
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Fixed Assets & Capitalisation
- Execute asset capitalization and AUC to asset transfers
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
- Post entries for asset transfers, disposals, and write-offs
- CWIP & Advances Management
- Monitor CWIP balances, ageing, and open items
- Track capital advances and ensure timely adjustments/recoveries
- Identify and highlight pending or ageing transactions
- Month-end Closing & Reporting
- Execute monthly activities including depreciation entries and reconciliations
- Prepare basic Capex, asset, and cash flow reports
- Share accurate data with plant and corporate finance teams
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Prepare data and schedules for statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Support GST reconciliations and documentation checks
- Ensure transactions comply with internal controls and accounting policies
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with plant teams, procurement, and internal finance teams for data and issue resolution
- Ensure timely closure of queries and smooth process flow
- Process Discipline & Improvement
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions
- Support process improvements and standardization initiatives
