Job Summary
EXPERIENCE Core Accountabilities • Support in the development of the business intelligence interface, working across multiple stakeholders and internal teams • Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using the business intelligence tool • Oversee the design methodology and project documentation for analysis and reporting models while developing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards • Integrate business intelligence tool reports into other applications using embedded analytics and API automation. Additionally, be able to develop custom visuals for the tool • Regularly conduct BI application maintenance activities and recommend solutions for system enhancement • Develop the implementation and improvement strategies to drive growth and integration of BI applications and tools across EDGE and its entities • Record and maintain BI system maintenance records for auditing and compliance purposes • Support and assist in the identification and initiation of innovative and cost-effective BI system/ software development projects and enhancements • Provide continuous support to the BI application delivery by identification and implementation of the required system updates / upgrades as well as the resolution of all software related issues across EDGE • Conduct monthly service reviews with end users and ensure that all issues are addressed to ensure operations continuity • Liaise between the Product/Solution Management team and the end users internally and externally to ensure the successful utilization of BI tools • Define and implement BI quality standards and ensure compliance across the Product/Solution Management team • Provide delivery support in integration, testing and commissioning activities, ensuring program timelines, milestones and project objectives are maintained in coordination with the project manager • Perform any other duties as requested by the reporting manager Supporting Accountabilities • Maintain awareness and adherence to the functional/functional tower’s policies and procedures • Participate in the periodic audit of the established policies and procedures • Support the development of periodic reports, as requested • Highlight any quality or non-compliance issues observed during the development of periodic reports • Support the execution of change management activities in the sub-function/function • Support in the process of identifying technology-related needs in the sub-function/function that helps drive automation within direct line of work • Minimum 6 years in Business IntelligenceDevelopment • Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable EDUCATION • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus. KEY SKILLS • Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, including: ❖DAX ❖Power Query (M) ❖Data modelling, incremental load ❖RLS and workspace management • Proficiency in SQL, and experience working with large datasets • Experience with Python and PySpark • Familiarity with open data formats, Talend, Trino, and Apache Airflow • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks • Experience with SAC is a plus BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES ▪ Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data ▪ Attention to detail and accuracy ▪ Accountability and ownership of tasks ▪ Effective communication and presentation skills ▪ Strong collaboration and stakeholder management FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES • Requirements Analysis • Solution Design • Dashboard & Report Delivery • Data Governance • Business Analytics & Insights • Stakeholder Management • Agile Project Delivery • Production Support & Continuous Improvement
