Job Description
- 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with strong hands-on expertise in backend engineering. • Proven experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and scalable distributed applications. • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager. • Strong frontend development experience using Angular and/or React JS, TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles. • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning. • Experience with asynchronous programming, API security, automated testing, code reviews, clustered applications, high-availability solutions, and Agile/Scrum delivery. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills in English.

Must-Have Skills
Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, backend development, Angular and/or React JS, HTML, CSS, microservices, REST APIs, AWS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Docker, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
Preferred Domain Experience
Knowledge of Power and Gas Trading processes—including trade capture, trade lifecycle management, settlements, and trading-platform transformation—is highly desirable. Experience working with energy trading or ETRM solutions will be an advantage.
