Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SOAP web services, along with a basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate should also possess working knowledge of DevOps practices and experience supporting CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications. • Develop and enhance microservices using Spring Boot. • Design, develop, and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services. • Support DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, deployment automation, and release management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. • Work effectively with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Support application deployments and production issue resolution. • Work with cloud-based environments and demonstrate a basic understanding of GCP. • Required Skills • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development. • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. • Good experience in developing and consuming REST APIs and SOAP web services. • Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Working knowledge of DevOps principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Experience supporting CI/CD pipeline setup, configuration, and maintenance. • Hands-on experience with one or more CI/CD tools such as: o Jenkins o Harness o IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) • Exposure to code quality and security tools such as SonarQube. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Gathering of requirements-Participate in gathering requirements for specific modules and ensure clear, structured documentation. Work across multiple business processes to capture linkages, dependencies, and required changes.
