Job Title: Assistant Manager – Legal Required Skills and Qualifications:
- - Education: LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in legal operations, with:
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role (Assistant Manager) or 3–4 years as a Team Lead
- Hands-on experience in paralegal support in an LPO
- Excellent communication, legal drafting, stakeholder management, and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with legal tech and document management tools is a plus
Key Responsibilities:Team Support & Supervision:
- - Supervise and guiding teams handling backend paralegal services for Personal injury and Insurance Defense
- Oversee task allocation, monitor team performance, and ensure consistent quality and timely delivery
- Provide on-the-job training, performance feedback, and foster knowledge-sharing across team members
- Act as a point of contact for client queries or complex legal tasks
Paralegal Support:
- - Supervise and support paralegal team for Insurance Defense and Personal injury matters
- Ensure all outputs meet legal and compliance standards and are aligned with client expectations
Client Interaction & Reporting:
- - Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, clarify scope of work, and ensure service excellence for paralegal functions in governance meetings
- Participate in client meetings and prepare performance reports, metrics dashboards, and status updates
Process Optimization & Compliance:
- - Assist in the development and maintenance of SOPs, templates, checklists, and workflow documentation
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency, quality improvement, and automation
- Ensure team compliance with legal and regulatory standards and client confidentiality protocols
