Job description
- Review project schedules, work plans, contractor submissions, and progress reports.
- Track key project milestones
- Identify project delays, bottlenecks, cost risks, quality issues and dependencies; recommend corrective actions and escalate critical issues.
- Coordinate with government departments, to facilitate timely project execution.
- Maintain project-wise dashboards/MIS covering physical progress, financial progress, milestones, risks, issues and actions.
- Support development of early-warning mechanisms for projects at risk of delay, cost escalation or quality non-compliance.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, management dashboards, review presentations and briefing notes for senior government officials.
- Support review meetings with stakeholders and maintain action trackers to ensure timely closure of decisions and issues.
- Support data collection and analysis to identify trends, recurring implementation challenges and opportunities for improving project delivery.
- Undertake any other programme-management and infrastructure-monitoring activities assigned by the PMU leadership.
