Job Summary

Skylark Drones is looking for highly capable AI Engineers to work on complex, real-world problems involving large-scale image data, intelligent agents, and automation-driven systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building systems that think, see, and act, and who are excited about solving problems that operate at scale in production environments.You will work closely with the Founders Office, product, and engineering teams to design and build AI-driven solutions across computer vision, autonomous agents, and intelligent automation. The focus is on solving hard problems using data, models, and systems that create measurable impact for large enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI systems involving bots, agents, and intelligent workflowsWork on large-scale image and video datasets to solve real-world computer vision problemsDevelop and optimize models for tasks such as detection, segmentation, tracking, and classificationBuild end-to-end AI pipelines including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and deploymentSolve complex, ambiguous problems using a combination of algorithms, models, and engineering judgmentCollaborate with product and domain teams to translate real-world problems into AI solutionsImprove model performance, robustness, and scalability in production environmentsDocument systems and approaches to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning conceptsHands-on experience building bots, agents, or autonomous systemsExperience working with large image or video datasetsStrong understanding of computer vision techniques and architecturesProficiency in Python and common ML frameworksAbility to think systemically and solve problems end to end

Preferred Attributes

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlowExposure to vision models including CNNs, transformers, or multimodal architecturesExperience deploying AI models in production environmentsComfort working with unstructured data and noisy real-world inputsStrong ownership mindset and bias for action
