Role OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and technically skilled software developer to lead the internal development and optimization of the Vehicle Network State Manager (VNSM). This AUTOSAR-based module manages vehicle bus activity through generic wake propagation and is fundamental to the E³ architecture. The role includes tool development, software testing, and feature enhancement.
Key Responsibilities· Development of VNSM Generator Tool:o Design and implement a CARIAD internal configuration tool for VNSM.o Replace the current external provided configuration tool with an internally owned solution.· Software Component Testing:o Develop and execute SWC Unit Tests and Functional Tests for VNSM.o Ensure traceability and verification aligned with internal quality standards.· VNSM SWC Development:o Continue development and optimization of the VNSM software component.o Support VNSM integration on the Classic AUTOSAR partition of central gateway components / Wakeup-Masters / HCPs· Feature Enhancement & Optimization:o Analyze and implement feature requests and optimization proposals based on experience and feedback from the current vehicle generation of the E³ 1.2 architectureo Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on priorities and technical feasibility.· Cross-functional Coordination:o Interface with product owners and coordinators to maintain development alignment.o Support formal release documentation and compliance with general requirements for software development for final customer approval
