What we hold. What we don't.
Tevos is built on the premise that candidate data belongs to candidates. Here is exactly what we collect, how we use it, and how you can delete it.
What we collect.
Your CV and skill claims
Uploaded once for scoring. Stored encrypted at rest. Never shared with third parties without your explicit action — applying to a role or toggling your signal to Active.
Verified skill results
Pass/fail outcomes from proctored assessments. Used to compute your Score multiplier and surface you to recruiters searching for verified talent. Never sold — to anyone, ever.
Anonymised salary signals
On account deletion, your individual records become part of an anonymised, k≥12 bucketed salary corpus used for market benchmarks. You can opt out before deletion in Settings.
What we never do.
- Never sell individual candidate data to recruiters or third parties
- Never allow recruiter payment to change your ranking — scoring is 100% match-quality
- Never store voice screen audio after transcript generation — audio is deleted on transcription completion
- Never share your identity with employers unless you apply or toggle your signal to Active
Your rights.
Regardless of your jurisdiction, Tevos honours the strictest applicable standard for every user. These rights apply to you in full:
Read the full legal basis in our Privacy & Trust policy.
Data deletion. 72 hours
To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Delete Account, or email hello@gettevos.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
We complete all deletion requests within 72 hours. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete. Backup systems are purged within 30 days per our retention schedule.
Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Your Score, assessment results, application history, and profile are removed in full.
Anonymised benchmarks opt-out.
When an account is deleted, individual records — stripped of all identifying information — may be folded into the Tevos salary corpus to improve market benchmarks for other candidates. This corpus enforces a k≥12 anonymisation floor: no salary figure is published unless at least 12 distinct individuals contributed to that bucket.
If you prefer your records not be included at all, toggle the opt-out in Settings → Privacy before initiating deletion. Once the deletion process starts, the opt-out preference is applied first. We do not use opted-out records in any benchmark, now or in the future.
You can change your opt-out preference at any time while your account is active.
